Meet Leanna Coy, FNP-BC
Founder Expat Health Navigator
Leanna Coy is a nurse practitioner with more than 23 years of experience working in healthcare. During her career working in family medicine, Leanna helped families and retirees manage their health and wellness while also assisting them in navigating the complicated American healthcare system.
When she began exploring the option of semi-retirement in Mexico, Leanna noticed many questions about healthcare, insurance, and medications in various expat groups. She found a knowledge gap and a lack of tools to clearly understand how to make the healthcare transition.
Seeing this need for assistance and drawing on her healthcare background, Leanna decided to help others navigate their medical needs once again. With a passion for helping others, the mission to "Ease the transition of healthcare for expats" was set.
About Expat Health Navigator
Expat Health Navigator was founded by Leanna Coy to help Americans learn how to navigate healthcare in Mexico.
Healthcare can feel confusing under the best of circumstances. Throw in a different language and a new country, and the idea may feel overwhelming. The goal of Expat Health Navigator is to reduce worry and help provide a clear understanding of what you need to transition and manage your health while in Mexico.
